Candidate applying through the U.M.E. must posses the Senior Secondary School Certificate with credit passes in physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English Language obtained at not more than two sittings.

U.M.E. subjects are English Language, Biology/Agricultural Sciences, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics.

Candidates who possess good grades in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Agricultural Science at Advanced Level and who satisfy minimum ordinary level requirements as stated above for 100level will be admitted into the programme at 200 level.

Candidates with the OND passed at a minimum upper credits level and NCE passed at credit level (in relevant discipline) may be considered for direct entry admission into the programme at 200 level subject to possession of minimum ordinary level requirements as stated above for 100level.

Candidates with the HND passed at a minimum lower credit in Agriculture may be considered for direct entry admission into the programme at 200 level subject to their possession of minimum ordinary level requirements as stated above for 100 level.
